Canvas Information

We have a number of standard sizes which are available to be ordered, but most of our customers choose a custom size which best suits their needs. We have the same turn around for custom sizes as we do for standard sizes.

We use miter joints on all of our canvas joints. They are also glued and screwed for added durability. The canvas is hand stretched and corners are cut and folded neatly. During the order process please advise if the canvas will be used as a landscape or portrait as this will depend on where the folds are located.

If you are just painting for fun or you are a professional we have a wide range of canvases available. As your art is a expression of you and your ideas we use the best quality finishing in all our canvases to ensure that your paintings will last for much longer than we will be around.

We can offer three types of English duck cotton canvas 10oz, 12oz and 15oz we recommend 12oz to 15oz for the larger sized canvases.

We offer sanded and un-sanded options and recommend sanded for acrylic primed canvases.

We only offer Acrylic and Un-primed options. If you require other finishing options please send us your request via this page. We might be able to accommodate you with specific requirements.

We offer three types of thickness of wood: 28mm, 44mm and 70mm and would recommend 44mm for medium sized canvases.
